INSPECTION  PERIOD :   If you are not satisfied with any of our New Products , you may return the item to us in a New and Unused Condition in Original Packaging  = NO EXCEPTIONS  

( See " Returned Item Condition " Below )

We MUST receive the unused item back  HERE  WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS from the date you received it .... AND in the SAME condition as you received it . . ( New and Unused in Original Packaging ) , for a FULL REFUND OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE **



DEFECTS  WARRANTY :   Each Manufacturer has a different warranty period and different requirements .
( Highlights of each Manufacturer's Warranty Period : See " Warranty Periods " Below )

All new products are warranted ONLY to the Original Purchaser against defects in material and workmanship.
Warranties do NOT cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, abuse, alteration, improper care, improper storage or damage by the elements .
Intentional abuse, misuse, damage caused by pets, vermin, mold or mildew is also specifically excluded by ALL Manufacturers.

IF, after inspection, it is found that the product failed due to a manufacturing defect , your item will be repaired , replaced or a refund issued... at the Manufacturer's option.

Please Note :   ALL Returns MUST be TIMELY , as stated above, in order to receive any refund.
So, allow PLENTY of time for UPS or the U.S. Postal Service to get it back to us in Oregon .
( RPS, FedEx and AirBorne do NOT service our area. Thus, if these carriers are used, we will NOT receive the item here in time for a refund to be issued to you .)

We do NOT open, unwrap and inspect each item before it is shipped out.

YOU must inspect your order IMMEDIATELY upon its arrival....
since all returns MUST be TIMELY in order to receive a refund.

HIGH  PEAK  5 Year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship ONLY on all backpacks sold after 1/1/2004 .
HIGH  PEAK  Selected backpacks sold AFTER 5/1/2004 have a Limited Lifetime Warranty against actual defects in materials and workmanship ONLY.
( If you are not sure if your backpack is one of the "Selected Backpacks" , please contact us. )
HIGH  PEAK  5 Year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship ONLY on all sleeping bags .
HIGH  PEAK  1 Year warranty against actual defects in materials and workmanship ONLY on all tents .
HIGH  PEAK
60 Days warranty against actual defects in materials and workmanship ONLY on all self-inflating sleeping mats made by High Peak
NEBO SPORTS Limited Lifetime Warranty ( for the expected life of the product ) against actual defects in materials and workmanship ONLY .
NORTH  PEAK 1 Year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship ONLY on all sleeping bags .
STANSPORT 30 Day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship ONLY .
TREK  TENTS 90 Days warranty against actual defects in materials and workmanship ONLY .

NOTE:   NO tent , backpack , sleeping bag nor ANY other product that we know of ... is warranted against damage by the elements such as wind, sunlight, lightning, hail, water or snow build-up, etc.

Damage by the elements is NOT  a Manufacturer's defect and is NOT covered by ANY warranty .
 



RETURNED ITEM CONDITION :

DEFECTIVE ITEM : Obviously, it is expected that any item with a manufacturing defect will be defective when the item is inspected . It is expected that the item was used in a reasonable manner when the defect showed up .

NON-DEFECTIVE ITEM : If a NON-defective item is returned to us because you don't like it or are not satisfied with it , and , upon inspection , the item is found to be in anything other than a  " New and Unused Condition " . . .even if used for only one outing . . . we can NOT resell it as a new item.    In that case, we will return your used item to you .. at your expense .. or will discard the item .
 




RETURNS :

In the unlikely event you need to return an item ,  FIRST  you MUST contact us by e-mail .
Identify the product and include your e-mail address as well as the address we shipped to .
If you are an auction bidder, include your Auction User ID ....and the auction item number if you have it.

The above will help us track down your order and expedite the warranty and/or refund process.

After Notifying us of your intent , ANY ITEMS BEING RETURNED SHOULD BE SENT TO:  ( Unless otherwise instructed )
